The university offers capacity building programmes for wide range of stakeholders including farmers, rural youth, women, extension functionaries and personnel of the other public- private stakeholders. The capacity building programmes of field extension functionaries are aimed at improving the professional effectiveness and efficiency of the functionaries and update their skills and knowledge. Whereas the farmers and youth-oriented capacity building programmes aim at empowering agricultural producers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources for improving the existing farm production activity or initiation of new activity.
University organizes capacity building programme on wide range of activities including scientific crop production, seed production, mushroom cultivation, bee keeping, livestock management, fisheries, food processing and products certification etc.
