On behalf of the university, the directorate also organizes a three-day-long Kisan Mela every year. This event provides a platform for farmers, agricultural professionals, researchers, and industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore the latest advancements in agriculture and allied sectors. Various public and private organizations, including SAUs, ICAR institutes, NGOs, FPOs, agro-input industries, and several other stakeholders of agriculture, actively participate in the event and display modern technologies, methods, and practices related to the field of agriculture and allied sectors. This fair also provided an opportunity for farmers, agro-input industries, agro-processors, exporters, etc. to expand their network and business.
