Frontline technology demonstrations serve as crucial platforms for communicating the recently developed technologies for the benefit of both the farmers and frontline extension workers. These demonstrations involve deploying newly developed technologies directly in real-world settings, on farmers’ fields, to showcase potential of technology. This hands-on approach allows researchers not only creates awareness among the extension functionaries and farmers about the latest technologies but also helps in gathering valuable information related to farmers feedback about the performance of technology under different agroecological conditions for its further refinement. The university conducts frontline demonstration on wide range of crops and their production technologies including pulses (chickpea, green gram, field pea, lentil etc.), oilseeds (mustard, groundnut and sesame), cereals (maize and wheat), Millets (Pearl millet, Kodo millet, Barnyard millet, Finger millet etc.), vegetables (Tomato, Cauliflower, Onion, Carrot etc.), Agroforestry models as well as livestock and fisheries management.
