Seed-Hub Projects Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, GoI has approved the creation of 3 Seed-Hubs for crops/commodities, viz. pulses, oilseeds and millet crops at this University.

Research Cum Seed Production Farms University has three research farms for undertaking research and seed production. Of the total area of 114.5 ha at the Jhansi campus, the research farm has been developed on nearly 100 ha after clearing of unwanted vegetation and removing stones. Contract Research Projects

All india Coordination Research Projects Under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), All India Coordinated Research Projects (AICRPs) on two important crops i.e. Chickpea and Rapeseed-Mustard have been launched to develop high-yielding varieties and matching protection and production technologies. Besides, voluntary centres of a few AICRPs are also established at the University.
