The Directorate of Education (DOE) at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU), Jhansi, was established in 2018 in alignment with the provisions of the Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Act, 2014 (No. 10 of 2014) where in the Directorate of Education is responsible of planning, coordination, and supervision of all educational programmes in the various Faculties of the University. Dedicated to the continuous enhancement of academic quality, the Directorate undertakes key functions such as academic planning, curriculum development, coordination of teaching activities, and the implementation of vision and policies related to agriculture education. It plays a vital role in monitoring the examination and evaluation systems, developing and updating curricula based on emerging trends and needs, and integrating educational technologies. It also focuses on faculty development and human resource management through regular training and capacity-building programmes. It fosters academic collaborations with national and international institutions to promote excellence in education and research. In accordance with the policies of the University and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the curricula and syllabi are reviewed and updated periodically. New courses are introduced to address contemporary challenges and opportunities in agriculture and allied sciences. Additionally, special coaching programmes and certificate courses are organized in all constituent colleges to support students in excelling in competitive examinations such as ICAR-NET, JRF, GATE, ARS, and other national-level assessments.
