Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU) is a premier institution dedicated to advancing agricultural education, research, and extension services in India. Established in 2014 under the Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Act, 2014 (Act No. 10 of 2014), the university is named in honor of the valiant freedom fighter, Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. Located in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, RLBCAU serves the Bundelkhand region, encompassing several districts in both Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The university’s primary objectives include imparting education in various branches of agriculture and allied sciences, conducting agricultural research, implementing extension education programs, and fostering linkages with national and international educational institutes.

The administrative framework of RLBCAU is led by esteemed individuals committed to the university’s mission. The current Chancellor is Prof. Panjab Singh, a distinguished figure in agricultural sciences. The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. A.K. Singh, oversees the university’s academic and administrative functions. The Registrar, Dr. Shivpal Singh Kushwah, plays a pivotal role in managing the university’s administrative operations. Dr. Kushwah also serves as the Librarian, contributing to the enrichment of the university’s academic resources.
